Regional structural development through networking has developed into a promising approach in helping and fostering the socially disadvantaged. Through networking, various regional interest groups that are active in the labour market can coordinate and establish long-term and sustainable educational opportunities. This guideline offers a framework for practical work in networks in the educational sector and the support of the socially disadvantaged. The focus is on the creation, expansion and day-to-day running of networks as well as on simple strategies for the evaluation and optimization of one's own networking activities. The example of successful networking in continuing job-related training courses demonstrates how further training courses can develop into a standard offering.
