Shadowful Light ebook

Why do shadows and pain so often come to us side-by-side with goodness and light? In a world that seems to be equal parts love and despair, the relatable moments and memories shared in this poetry collection give voice to our complex emotions. Through everyday experiences and language, with profound insights, poet Loretta Fox invites readers to explore the relationship between light and shadow, both metaphorically and (sometimes) literally. The poetry offers a unique perspective and representation while being unafraid to tackle topics that strike at what it means to be human. Descriptive imagery mirrors the intensity of feelings. You will be inspired to notice beauty in your own life, especially as you work through pain and disappointment, and to consider your connection to other people, to the spiritual realm, and to something greater in the universe.   SHADOWFUL LIGHT will help readers embrace life's questions and remember that no one is alone.
