Apparently, Everyone Has Relatives ebook

At Bracken House, family has a habit of arriving with history already attached. Reuben discovers that relatives can remember versions of you that no longer feel familiar — including school reports, old ambitions and family decisions that were never part of the story you thought you knew. Around the building, siblings, parents, cousins and in-laws bring their own memories, assumptions, advice and expectations into lives that were already complicated enough. Across ten connected chapters, the residents of Bracken House navigate old family roles, competing memories, inherited stories, sibling dynamics, unfinished arguments and the strange experience of being treated like the person you used to be. Apparently, Everyone Has Relatives is Book Seven of The Building, a warm ensemble comedy about family history, boundaries, identity and the people who knew you long before you became the person you are now.
