The Implication: Father Daughter Mega Yacht
Later that night
By: Tommy Mackson
Ever since I could remember how to walk I knew that my family was a lot more well-off than other kids. None of the other kids had access to a butler who would make their clothes for them or ride in a helicopter from downtown New York to upstate New York. Everyone else had to ride in one of those disgusting and gross yellow taxis. Fortunately or unfortunately for myself we were not one of those people that had to partake in "normal people" activities. We were what you say… Privileged… But, that doesn't necessarily mean that we were enjoying our lives. Sometimes there are things that privileged people have to do that normal people would never dream of. For example one experience that is pretty dramatic in my life whether it's positive or negative I haven't yet decided but last week I was gifted a brand-new mega yacht from my father and being the sexy daughter of a billionaire is not always an easy task. I woke up the next morning in the bed of the yacht with my father beside me…
It all started off last week when I got a job promotion at the family business to Executive Vice President. Our family was into the real estate development scene in New York downtown city. Pretty much any skyscraper that was built in the last 10 years, our family has had a piece of. And getting Executive Vice President of the family business meant a pay raise from $500,000 per year up to $1.5 million per year. Now all of you may think that this is a ridiculous amount of money and while it is on some levels, it isn't that much in the scope of millionaire and billionaire scene. Especially when you live in Manhattan and you have expensive hobbies and tastes. That money can go just as quickly as it comes in. It doesn't even come close to buying you a yacht much less a mega yacht. That's why when I went to dinner and my dad laid it on me, they put me in a bit of a shock.
"Honey, congratulations on your new title."
