Barbara lived in a bungalow out of town. She lived alone but had a lover, Karin, who came over from time to time. Karin was married and her husband knew about her affair with Barbara. However, he did not mind since Barbara was also a woman and Karin’s husband did not want to divorce. While Karin was bisexual, Barbara was totally gay. She was sure of it since she tried men and did not like it.

The next house was similar to Barbara’s. A young couple moved in recently and Barbara did not know them very well. The woman was blonde and shy while the husband was friendly. The young wife seemed to speak briefly and only if she had to.

Barbara concluded that the young woman suspected that she was a lesbian and wanted to stay away from her. However, Barbara did not mind since she was used to such reactions and learned to ignore them.

One morning, Karin and Barbara were sunbathing in her backyard on a blanket next to each other. They were holding hands while enjoying their beer and the sun.

“Don’t look now, but we have a spectator,” whispered Karin into Barbara’s ear as she bent over.

“The new blonde next door is watching us,” she added.

Barbara turned her eyes all around while keeping her head straight.

“Where?” asked Barbara as she could not see.

“She is looking from the window in her garden shed,” replied Karin.
